The Foundation Women in Europe aims at strengthening the position of women in the development of civil society during the process of EU enlargement. Consequently, the foundation's mission is to foster research on the diverse lifestyles of women in a growing Europe, focussing on cultural and gender policy aspects.
The Foundation Women in Europe is a member of the Federal Association of German Foundations.
