The Foundation Women in Europe aims at strengthening the position of women in the development of civil society during the process of EU enlargement. Consequently, the foundation's mission is to foster research on the diverse lifestyles of women in a growing Europe, focussing on cultural and gender policy aspects.
As a consuming foundation, the Foundation Women in Europe will end its work at the end of 2024. New project applications can no longer be processed.
